Soyons’ archaeological site shows evidence of human occupation since Neanderthal man in prehistoric times until the Middle Ages, as can be seen in the caves and the archaeological museum. Two caves are open to the public: the grotte de Néron and the Trou du Renard. The first, listed as a Historic Monument invites you to take a trip into the heart of prehistory; while the Trou du Renard takes you down to the underground world where you will find a splendid system of stalactites, stalagmites, rock curtains etc.
From 1st April to 31 October : From Wednesday to Sunday – 2 to 6 p.m.
July – August : Every day – 10.30 a.m. to 6.30 p.m.
