The Bramabiau chasm is on the border between the Cévennes and the Causses, in the Massif de l’Aigoual 40 km south of Millau and the Tarn Gorges and 1½ hours from Nîmes and Montpellier.
A STRANGE AND UNIQUE SITE:
Bramabiau is a place that is least likely to elicit feelings of dejà vu among cave enthusiasts. Edouard Alfred Martel wrote: Bramabiau is one of those majestic and bizarre works that nature performs every few centuries which astound the Human Spirit.
