Grotte Célestine: let the adventure begin!
Right in the heart of Rauzan village, the Grotte Célestine is the only underground river open to the public in the Ironed. Dating from the Quaternary period and hollowed out of the limestone rock by water, the Grotte Célestine (so-called after the owner of the former access) was discovered by chance in 1845. Forgotten for more of eighty years, Rauzan local authority has once again opened it to the public. Kitted out like real speleologists (boots, helmet and helmet lamp are lent as part of the tour) we offer you an unforgettable 45-minute tour of the underground river bed where you can explore the magnificent natural décor.

Children less than 1.20 metres (4 feet) tall and people with reduced mobility will not be allowed access to the cave. Reservation essential.
