Discovered on the Causse Méjean on 17 September 1897 by Louis ARMAND. After your descent on the funicular railway, enthusiastic guides will take you to admire the ever changing lighting effects on the unique Virgin Forest with its 400 stalagmites. You will never forget the Palm tree, the Turkey, the Curtains, the Jellyfish, the Cauliflower, the Tiger’s jaws, and of course the world-famous Largest Stalagmite which throughout its 30 metres shines and sparkles like a diamond. A unique, fairy-tale cave, capable of containing the entire Cathedral of Notre Dame in Paris. The cave to break all records. You will not be able to believe your eyes.
