The luxuriant entrance shaft takes you 25 metres down into the first gallery bright with colours, organs, curtains, petrified waterfalls.
The delicate fairyland of thousands of stalactites and dozens of columns in the last gallery will amaze you. Then a paleontological seam reveals rare bones of elephants, stags, cave bears etc from 250,000 to 400,000 years ago. The site has been listed under Natura 2000 for the diversity of the bats which emerge according to the season. Since June 2006 there has been an illustrated trail offering a fun way to learn more.
