A natural history lesson:
Thousands of years ago the waters of the river Loir became an engraver, sculptor and artist in the Foulon limestone caves. A great diversity of underground structures are found here: large caves, giant’s cooking pots, chimneys, rock crystal and the greatest concentration of marine geodes known in France. The cave is suitable for all ages and the 800-metre guided tour takes you under the town. A son et lumière show about water and fire makes a brilliant end to your visit.
